For more than ten years, ACE Logistics has been offering regular groupage cargo services (packages, pallets, goods up to 2500kg) in the direction of Central Europe. In February 2010, a daily connection with Germany was started in cooperation with Dachser, Europe’s leading logistics partner, and in the autumn of 2011 a daily connection with Poland was added. Today, all ACE Logistics shipments to Central and Western Europe will be handled via Polish and German terminals.
In recent years, the biggest growth has been in freight volumes passing through the Strykow terminal in central Poland. The expansion of the Strykow terminal and office building, which was completed in 2020, has contributed to the increase in volumes. In addition to high-speed connections within Poland, the Strykow terminal is connected to daily regular services throughout Europe. Due to the increase in capacity and the addition of several new direct lines, Strykow will also be the main gateway to Central Europe for the whole Batlics from October. From 1st October 2021, all ACE Logistics’ Baltic import shipments start moving through the Strykow terminal. In order to operatively serve the increased transport volumes, we have added regular departures in the direction of Batlics, which ensures fast and smooth movement of goods.
However, ACE Logistics’ Estonian and Latvian offices maintain a fast direct connection with Germany in the direction of exports, but mainly only for aceSpeed shipments. We usually expect export delivery orders for picking up the same day within Tallinn and Harju County by noon and in order to ensure loading for departures on the same day, the goods must be ready for pick-up no later than 2 p.m. to bring to our Tallinn terminal. Outside Tallinn and Harju County, we usually pick up the goods before noon in order the goods can leave on the same day.
Delivery time to Poland is usually 3-4 working days with standard service and 2-3 working days with express service aceSpeed (pick-up days are counted as 0-days). Delivery time to Germany is usually 4-5 working days with standard service and 3-4 working days with express service aceSpeed, but a large part of aceSpeed shipments can also arrive in 2 working days. Delivery time to the Netherlands and Belgium is 4-6 working days for standard service and 3-4 working days for express service. Also in France and Italy, goods arrive in certain regions by express service in 3-4 working days. In the case of even more time-sensitive goods, we can also offer special transportation according to the customer’s wishes and possibilities. Our advantage is the possibility to combine special transportation with fast regular terminal linehaul and therefore offer the customer more favorable transport tariffs.
