On 1st of April, ACE Logistics Ukraine supposes to celebrate a second successful operational year with the management by Olena Dashko. However, things turned out rather differently, than it was ever expected.
First year challenges came of course with Corona. The company had to teach new employees remotely, while they were in their homes instead of office. But the hard work paid it off, as the team made excellent progress. Positive financial results were already achieved during 2021, second year of operations and ACE Logistics can be fully satisfied about its Ukraine activities during these first two years.
2022 started also with very positive feelings. A lot of activities were going on and within the first two months ACE Logistics Ukraine managed to organize more than double of the amount of the shipments, comparing to the previous year’s same time. Everything seemed to go the best possible way.
Until 24th February…
“I will never forget 24th February. This day will stay with me for the whole of my life”, claims Olena Dashko the managing director of ACE Logistics Ukraine. “In just one day all the trucks were returned to the factories and all airfreight shipments were stopped. We felt a tragic silence”, she adds.
ACE Logistics Ukraine is a fighter as its country. They are doing everything they can to re-organize their work. Firstly, they moved all employees to fully remote working as well as relocated customs related activities from Kiev to Lviv and Lutsk area, so they can still organize customs clearance for all country.
“We have lots of inquiries and we are constantly searching for solutions. We try to do everything to continue processes. Especially, as it is really important from the economical point of view, not to stop the activities. We would like also to help to rebuild the economy of Ukraine and to provide jobs to our current employees. The team of ACE Logistics in Ukraine continues to look for the logistics solutions for every need in road, air, sea and rail transport!” she proudly adds.
